GCL states America's Leading Retail Mobile Cart Manufacturer Newcastle Systems to Debut New Powered Picking Cart at MODEX 2014 in Atlanta, March 17-20, 2014

Newcastle Systems, a manufacturer of mobile computer carts, will be debuting its prototype powered picking cart at "MODEX 2014" in Atlanta, GA from March 17-20, 2014. Look for the Newcastle Team in Booth #4005.
Middleton, MA, January 30, 2014 - Newcastle Systems, a manufacturer of mobile computer carts, will be debuting its newest product at MODEX 2014, "The Greatest Supply Chain Show on Earth". With a long list of national retailers now deploying existing Newcastle Systems' Mobile Carts in their receiving docks and replenishment bays, the demonstrable financial benefits of converting stationary workstations into mobile units has led to demand for additional powered-cart options in other areas of the warehouse and operations.

With the typical logistics operation employing an average of 50% of all employees in picking alone, Newcastle Systems elected to work with clients where it would make the biggest difference to their bottom line.

Exhibiting at MODEX 2014 in Atlanta in Booth #4005, Newcastle Systems will be featuring not only its new "NB Series SLIM" launched at the end of 2013, but a prototype picking cart that will allow the user to carry a number of standard workstation configurations including thermal laser printers so that picking can be as mobile as possible without wasteful trips for additional supplies or to start a new picking wave.

John O'Kelly, CEO of Newcastle Systems, shared, "We've had great success and feedback in recent years in regards to the huge efficiencies being gained on the warehouse floor with our standard mobile workstations. Now our clients can gain the same great efficiencies in their Picking aisles that they get from Newcastle on the Receiving docks."

Reserve a time today for a personal demo and meeting with Newcastle Systems.

Already widely used by many of America's largest retail chains, common configurations for existing Newcastle Systems' carts include label printers, barcode scanners, laptops, monitors and other peripherals. The large variety of accessories available allow for retailers to efficiently streamline everyday processes in both the warehouse and on the retail floor. Users who convert their stationary workstations into mobile ones see immediate savings and improved accuracy.
