GCL states Stan T. Webb and Jayne Black, Mrs. Midwest International 2014, to be Recognized by the NFEC on Financial Educators Day

Jayne Black and Stan T. Webb, members of the National Financial Educators Councils' Personal Finance Speakers Association, have been chosen to be recognized on Financial Educators Day.
New York, NY, January 29, 2014 - Jayne Black and Stan T. Webb, members of the NFEC's Personal Finance Speakers Association, have been chosen to be recognized on Financial Educators Day.

Financial Educators Day recognizes the individuals who are working to improve people's financial capabilities. This special day of recognition takes place the last Friday of every April (April 25, 2014) and honors those who contribute to building more financially literate communities.

Jayne Black, Mrs. Midwest International 2014 she has spent the last six years working to advocate for financial literacy. She has taught thousands of women, families and children about the importance of having good money skills. Jayne's mother became homeless in retirement due to no savings. Jayne's platform as Mrs. Midwest International is Money Smart Kids, "building a generation of savers" and her current project is to have 5000 children around the globe open a savings account and commit to being a saver in 2014. "I am honored to receive recognition on Financial Educators Day."

Stan T Webb has been a long-time advocate for financial literacy and has also been in the business of helping people in his wealth management business for over 28 years He expressed, "Having made my own mistakes early in my life, I know what it is like to start over and I truly love to help others learn and avoid financial mistakes. It is an honor to receive this special recognition on Financial Educators Day."

Stan T Webb and Jayne Black are also a members of the NFEC's Personal Finance Speakers Association. This expert speaker's bureau supplies presenters who represent best practices in the field of personal finance to give presentations, keynote addresses, and training to organizations that seek to raise awareness and improve the financial abilities of those they serve.

Jayne's mission is for our world to be financially literate no longer living with the effects of financial literacy. In your lifetime you could see 5 generation's and if you pass down good money skills to each of them we could eliminate financial illiteracy all together.

Saving Smart for 5 Generations, provides financial education tools and resources. Jayne is also a financial education teacher and will work with children and families one on one or speak to groups. Jayne travels internationally working to build people's money skills with a passions to make this generation of children money smart. Saving Smart for 5 generations goal is to have 5000 children around the globe open up savings account and commit to saving this year! Jayne has partnered with 1st National Bank, America Saves and Global Money Week Day along with the NFEC to help accomplish this goal.
