GCL publishes New Mobile Access to Prognosis Helps Users Quickly Resolve Critical IT Problems

Integrated Research today announced new mobile access to its Prognosis software, enabling users to closely manage the performance of their business-critical IT systems using smartphones and tablets.
Sydney, Australia, December 17, 2013 - Mobile access to Prognosis allows users to receive secure alerts on their tablets or smartphones at any time, enabling them to triage issues and return key IT systems to peak performance quickly and efficiently.

The new interface also gives mobile users the ability to easily interact with Prognosis performance management functions such as real-time views of IT infrastructure, Unified Communications ecosystems, and payment networks. In addition, users can access Prognosis analytics and historical reporting on their mobile devices to find the root cause of problems that may be compromising the performance of key systems.

By being able to respond quickly and accurately when a problem does occur—regardless of whether they are in or out of the office—IT workers can minimize disruption to business users, improve service levels, and reduce financial or productivity losses.

"Providing instant access to Prognosis over iPhones, iPads, and Android devices means we are enabling businesses to incorporate IT performance management into their mobility initiatives," said Darc Rasmussen, Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Research. "This gives IT teams the ability to deliver the increasingly high service levels demanded by businesses.

"Mobile users can now tap into the full range of functionality that leads businesses to choose Prognosis to manage the performance of infrastructure and networks accessed by hundreds of millions of people every day."

"By making Prognosis available on mobile devices, Integrated Research has enabled our administrators to receive alerts anywhere at any time, and act immediately if necessary," said Chad Rodriguez, Payment Services Operations Manager, Computer Services Inc. "As a result, we can minimize productivity loss or reputation damage when a problem does occur."

Integrated Research recently launched Prognosis 10, the latest version of its market-leading performance management software. This new version features a powerful web-based interface, centralized reporting and a robust architecture update. "Prognosis 10—combined with our new mobility solution—represents an outstanding opportunity for organizations to focus their energies on profitability, growth, and service, rather than just 'keeping the lights on' at an infrastructure level," said Rasmussen.
