Accusoft will demonstrate ThinPic, an app for Android and iOS devices that shrinks digital photo files on mobile devices by as much as 70%, saving storage space on the device, and dramatically reducing the data plan minutes required to share photos or transmit them to off-device storage. Because of Accusoft’s patented compression technology, the smaller files preserve the full resolution, display/print dimensions and image quality of the originals, even when zoomed. ThinPic was selected as a Semifinalist in the CES 2014 Mobile Apps Showdown competition by a panel of expert judges.
