The Communication Leadership Exchange2014 Conference Offered Seasoned Guidance for Professional Communicators

Association celebrates 50th annual communication leadership conference with hard-hitting programs, content and speakers.
Aliso Viejo, CA, February 06, 2014 - Recognized thought leaders will address seasoned communications professionals at the 50th annual Communication Leadership Exchange conference April 23-25 in Philadelphia. This year's theme is "Strategic Communication: From traditional to digital to wearable?!"

The Communication Leadership Exchange ("The Exchange") is a non-profit organization that attracts seasoned strategic communication professionals interested in sharing best practices in internal and external communications. The Exchange Conference is considered one of the premier events in the communication industry.

"The key value of the annual Exchange conference is that members can quickly assimilate relevant content and can benefit from the interactive sessions and workshops," said Becky Healy, The Exchange's conference chair and former board president. "We pride ourselves on fostering an environment of collaboration and because we keep the conference a moderate and manageable size, attendees walk away with actionable strategies and tactics to help them better manage personnel, processes and emerging technologies."

The Exchange conference is not a typical conference. It focuses on the unique and challenging role that strategic internal and external communications play in the success of today's organizations. Since 1963, communication leaders have been able exchange dialogue with an extraordinary lineup of experts and thought leaders to discuss the original thinking and best practices in corporate, consultant and nonprofit strategic communications.

Through interactive plenary sessions, workshops, discussions, debates, presentations and networking opportunities, attendees learn and share ways to boost personal performance while helping their organizations achieve their missions. Dramatic growth in digital communication has positively affected many businesses' bottom lines. But technology alone can't create meaning, build trust, influence minds or change hearts. The best communication professionals are using a variety of tools to identify, create and reinforce the human touch while ensuring alignment and leading behavior change.

The 2014 conference program features sessions led by thought leaders from the communication industry and the business arena. A partial speaker lineup includes:

Roger D'Aprix, internationally known communication consultant, lecturer and author, who will offer his unique perspective on the evolution of organizational communications from its early roots to today.

Diane Gayeski, Dean and Professor of Strategic Communications, Roy H. Park School of Communications, Ithaca College, who will explore how senior communications professionals can use their well-rounded skill set to re-frame their careers to compete in tomorrow's world.

Bill Hoogterp, CEO and Founder of Own the Room®, a Division of Blue Planet Training, who will conduct workshops focused on improving a person's public speaking and storytelling abilities.

Maril MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Gagen MacDonald, who will present just-released Arthur Page Society research on the future of the communication profession and the role of the CCO.

Timothy Mack, former VP for Research with WPP Ltd. and current President of the World Future Society, who will explore the future of our profession by examining approaching storms and looming breakthroughs in the communications world and the larger global stage.

Michael Rudnick, Principal Consultant and a member of the Executive Team at Logical Design Solutions, a thought-leading consulting firm that develops innovative enterprise business solutions for Fortune 500 organizations.

  1. Mobile Sales Software I have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all website owners publish good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
