Keene, NH, February 14, 2014 - Early bird registration rates are now available for the Local Solutions: Northeast Climate Change Preparedness Conference, hosted by Antioch University New England and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions 1 & 2 on May 19-21, 2014, in Manchester, New Hampshire. Resiliency professionals and other community decision-makers should register now in order to save 20 percent on registration, with limited early-bird pricing available until March 1.
There are more than 70 speakers and 20 sessions, as well as steering committee representatives from more than 30 national, state, and community agencies, organizations, and businesses.

Conduct vulnerability assessments;

Call for Student Posters The Call for Poster Presentations seeks student submissions of applied research related to topics that support any of the conference track or session themes for Days 1 and 2 (May 19 and 20), from all disciplines and methodologies. Undergraduate and graduate students from U.S. and Canadian institutions are eligible. Presentation abstracts are due on February 27. Posters will be judged, with $250 awarded to the best candidate.
