GCL states The Band Perry to Headline 2014 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show

Award-winning sibling trio to be featured alongside Christian Siriano's dazzling Fall 2014 Collection, Tuesday, April 29, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Nashville, TN, February 14, 2014 - The Band Perry will be the featured entertainment for the 2014 Symphony Fashion show, to be held Tuesday, April 29, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Presented by Lexus and sponsored by Gus Mayer and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra League, this event supports the Nashville Symphony's education and community engagement programs, which annually serve 100,000 children and adults across Middle Tennessee.

Nashville's largest runway show will highlight Christian Siriano's Fall 2014 collection. A red-carpet experience precedes the show, and guests will be invited to celebrate the evening of fashion and music with a tented dining experience following the show.

Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2010, The Band Perry has ascended to dizzying heights. Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Neil and Reid, the band has notched four No. 1 singles, including "If I Die Young" (which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Country and AC charts), "All Your Life," "Better Dig Two," and "DONE." (which marks the first No. 1 for Reid and Neil Perry as songwriters). They've also enjoyed sold-out tours and a showering of honors, including multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Music awards, as well as GRAMMY®, Teen Choice, AMA, ACA and Billboard Music award nominations - all of which have cemented the sibling trio as one of the hottest acts in recent history.

"Music and fashion have always gone hand in hand, and as a band, fashion is an important part of our performances," said The Band Perry. "We are excited to be part of the 2014 Symphony Fashion Show and can't wait to see Christian Siriano's collection."

Featured designer Christian Siriano attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and interned with industry legends Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. The Christian Siriano Collection debuted in 2006 and is shown each season at New York Fashion Week and presented to retailers in New York City and Paris. Known for his whimsical and show-stopping design - from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses to tailored sportswear, as well as intricate shoes and accessories - the collection can be found at specialty boutiques and department stores around the globe.

Jazz pianist Kory Caudill will make his Nashville debut at the Symphony Fashion Show, performing original music before the runway show in Laura Turner Concert Hall.

Tickets for the Symphony Fashion Show include reserved seating and an elegant cocktail buffet after the show. Past designers for the event have included Oscar de la Renta, MARCHESA, Monique Lhuillier and Isaac Mizrahi.
