DoItInPerson.com, the online event platform that allows people to create, manage and promote events and communities, today announces that it will serve as the official event platform for New York Entrepreneurship Week (“NYEW”) October 14-18, 2013.
NYEW is part of the national expansion of the popular Triangle Entrepreneurship Week, which includes Nashville, Cleveland and Washington DC. The Entrepreneurship Week team strives to help entrepreneurs past the breakthrough point and addresses some of the most difficult transitions for startups to navigate successfully.
“We are extremely excited to come to the New York this year as the city continues to be a leader in innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Jon Leonardo, founder of Triangle Entrepreneurship Week and NYEW. “We are also excited to work with a New York startup, DoItInPerson.com, to not only manage our event and manage registrations, but to use their platform to help build a community around the New York startup community.”
Since launching January 2013, DoItInPerson.com offers community and event organizers a simple platform to streamline the process of event management. NYEW will use the platform to book and manage speakers, maintain the event schedule, sell tickets and use the widgets to embed all of this information on their website.
Aron Schoenfeld, founder and CEO of DoItInperson.com commented, “Being able to showcase our platform with an event like New York Entrepreneurship Week is really a great opportunity for us. It lets us show our capabilities to the growing startup and tech scene in New York. As an event heavy city this really is a prime way to introduce and demonstate our product to other organizers."
Attendees at NYEW will have the opportunity to pitch their business plans and receive advice and possibly funding from local venture capitalists and angel investors. For more information visit http://www.doitinperson.com/NYEW.
